It has been said that Kyle’s tenacity and skills which made him successful both on and off the field, were a direct result of the upbringing and coaching from his stepfather, Bruce Schwarz www.BruceSchwarz.com Bruce instilled the sportsmanship values and skills that made him a well-rounded young man and exceptional athlete.

Although originally from Pittsburg, it was his stepfather, Bruce Schwarz, who knew that attending a great high school (St. Edwards in Lakewood, Ohio) was key to the start of a successful football career.

It is with deep sadness that his stepfather passed away at Kyle’s family home on Lake Erie (Bay Village, Ohio) on February 8, 2017. His dream was to attend his “sons” first NFL game of his career.

Friends and family are sure that Bruce will be watching that first game from “the nose bleed section” high in the sky!
